Globalization is the way that local or national ways of doing things become global, that is, done together around the world.It is about economics or trade, technology, politics, and culture.It describes the way countries and people of the world interact and integrate. Many things have become globalized as people come into contact.





 

Economic globalization is how countries are coming together as one big global economy, making international trade easier.







 

Political globalization is how institutions and countries can influence the whole world. The United Nations are an example of globalization because most countries of the world are members of its General Assembly. 







                                               

Cultural globalization is how culture is becoming homogeneous, which means that people from all over the world act in similar way.

LEGEND OF THE NUTCRACKER

The story is about young girl named Clara.Her doting uncle Drosselmeyer gifts her a magical and mysterious nutcracker that she always keeps by her side. One night, when she was sleeping, the evil Mous-King came and tried to take her to his kingdom. Then, the Nutcracker Prince fought the Mous-King and rescued Clara.    After their victory, the Nutcracker Prince and Clara went to the land of magic and dreams. She visited the land of the Snow Queen and the the candy land. She see beautiful flowers and sugar plum fairy. It is the Christmas day and Clara wakes up to find herself back at home, surrounded by her family and with the Nutcracker and  she discovered that was a dream. INVICTUS GAMES

The Invictus Games is an international adaptive multi-sport event, created by Prince Harry. In sports take part injured or sick soldier and their associated veterans.
In the Invictus Games there are sports like wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball and indoor rowing.
The first Invictus Games took place in March 2014 at the Qeen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
The second games opened on 8 May 2016 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney Word, near Orlando, in Florida.
The 2017 games were held in September in Toronto, Canada; while the 2018 games will hold in Sydney.

PINK STINKS

Pink Stinks is a campaign founded in London in May 2008 by twin sisters Emma and Abi Moore. They claim is damage caused by gender stereotyping of children. Pink Stinks says that the marketing of gender-specific products to young children encourages girls to limit their ambitious later in life.
Pink Stinks has created a listing of "Pink Stinks Approved"companies providing not-gender-specific play and learning products for children.
Pink Stinks has attracted attention in other countries and has inspired the setting up of a similar campaign in Germany.

MY FAVOURITE COLOUR

My favourite colour is MAGENTA. This colour is one of universal harmony and emotional balance. It is spiritual yet practical, encouraging common sense and a balanced outlook on life.

THE HISTORY OF SURNAMES

For a long time people didn't have family names, people had first names only.
This custom slowly change.
The Romans introduced a combination of personal and family name. They usually used three names "PRAENOMEN, NOMEN and COGNOMEN".
In England people started to use surnames in the 13th century. Many family name came from jobs.
Names like BAKER, COOK, CARPENTER show an occupation.
People also used places for family names, in fact, in the UK more then alf family names came from places; RIVER, HILL are some examples.
Other surnames came from personal names, for example RICHARDSON , STEVENSON.
Lots of Gaelic names are preceded by MC (son) or O', for examples MC DONALD, O'BRIAN.
Some surnames come from nicknames.
